What this site collects
The short version: what you type into our forms and the site guide, and how the site is used. We don't sell it.
Contact and training forms
When you send the contact form or register for a class, we keep what you entered (name, email, company and your message or registration details) so we can reply, and we send you a confirmation email. If you tick the box, we also send the occasional case study, paper or class date. Forms are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam.
The site guide chat
The "Ask" button opens a site guide that answers questions about SDI. Chat questions and answers are stored so we can improve the answers, along with the page you asked from. We don't store your IP address with them. Chat questions and answers are kept for up to one year, then deleted automatically. To have yours deleted sooner, email info@simulationdynamics.com. Please don't type personal details into the chat; to reach a person, use the contact page.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages people visit and how the site is used. That includes how the site guide chat is used (for example, that a question was asked and how long the answer took), but not the text of your questions.
